Hubungan antara Sikap Kompetitif Berlebihan dan Perilaku Kerja Inovatif

Abstract


Globalisasi yang pesat menimbulkan dampak terhadap ketatnya persaingan yang terjadi antar perusahaan di dunia. Inovasi menjadi hal yang penting untuk dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Inovasi perusahaan dapat dilakukan oleh karyawan sehingga karyawan yang dapat melakukan inovasi menjadi sumber daya yang penting bagi organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara sikap kompetitif berlebihan dan perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan. Pengambilan data akan dilakukan kepada karyawan tetap dari perusahaan yang mengedepankan inovasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 53 orang yang telah menjadi karyawan tetap. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang meminta partisipan untuk mengisi kuesioner Skala Perilaku Kerja Inovatif  (α = .92) dan Skala Sikap kompetitif berlebihan (α = .74). Analisa korelasi menunjukkan bahwa sikap kompetitif berlebihan tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku kerja inovatif (r=,04 n= 53, p> ,05, two-tailed). Penelitian ini mendiskusikan alasan teoritis dan metodologis yang menyebabkan hasil tersebut dan kemungkinan pengembangan riset di kemudian hari. Hasil penelitian didiskusikan sesuai tujuan penelitian. Keterbatasan dan saran diberikan untuk studi selanjutnya.
