Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana peranan BUM Desa dalam mewujudkan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (TPB) yaitu air bersih dan sanitasi di Kelurahan Karangrejek, Kapanewon Wonosari, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Fokus penelitian pada upaya pengelolaan air bersih oleh BUM Desa. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Bidang di DPU, Kepala BAPPEDA, Lurah Karangrejek, Pengelola BUM Desa, dan masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Berdasar hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa BUM Desa telah mampu mewujudkan TPB. Peranan BUM Desa dalam mewujudkan TPB, yaitu: peran kelembagaan, kejelasan peran dalam penyediaan air bersih, kemitraan, dan community-based developer. Pencapaian TPB, meliputi: 1) Peningkatan sanitasi total berbasis masyarakat ditunjukkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, peningkatan fasilitas cuci tangan pakai sabun, toilet bersih, dan stop buang air besar sembarangan; 2)Pelipatgandaan ditunjukkan pengembangan sambungan rumah dan peningkatan produktivitas rumah tangga; dan 3) Arus manfaat secara terus menerus ditunjukkan kecukupan kebutuhan air bersih, kelancaran distribusi air, efisiensi penggunaan air, dan peningkatan pendapatan BUM DesaReferences
