This study aims to analyze the transmission pattern of shallot prices at the producer, wholesaler, and consumer levels and to analyze the factors that influence the formation of shallot price at the consumer level in North Sumatra Province. The data studied is monthly data for 2016-2020, totaling 60 observations. The analytical model used in this research is the Asymmetric Error Correction Model (AECM). The results showed that price transmission between shallot marketing agencies in North Sumatra Province was asymmetric in the short and long term in the relationship between wholesalers-producers and consumers-producers. Asymmetric price transmission in the short term is formed due to adjustment costs in line with price changes that occur. Meanwhile, long-term price transmission occurs as a result of the abuse of market power by buyers
Yanita Melissa Br Sembiring, Rahmanta, Iskandarini Copyright (c) 2024 Yanita Melissa Br Sembiring, Rahmanta, Iskandarini https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ojs.uma.ac.id/index.php/agrica/article/view/9591 Mon, 22 Jan 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Analysis of Land Carrying Capacity and Projected Rice Agricultural Land Needs in 2033 in Southeast Aceh Regency Aceh Province https://ojs.uma.ac.id/index.php/agrica/article/view/9467
The carrying capacity of agricultural land is defined as the ability of a region to provide land that can be used to support human agricultural activities. The Southeast Aceh Regency in Aceh Province requires an analysis of land carrying capacity to anticipate the sufficient food needs in the future. The Objective of this study is to analyze the carrying capacity of agricultural land and to analyze the need for paddy fields with a population projection approach for the next 10 years. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect production, return to scale and efficiency of using Inul watermelon farming production factors. The research was conducted in June 2023, using the survey method. The determination of respondents by purposive sampling was farmers who were active as members of farmer groups and were planting Inul watermelons, as many as 36 farmers. Primary data collection through interviews using questionnaire guidance. Secondary data comes from BPS and literature literature. The production function uses the Cobb-Douglas production function. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis, scale-up analysis of results and production efficiency analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, production factor factors, namely land area, KNO3 fertilizer and pesticides have a real effect on the 95% confidence level while NPK seeds and fertilizers have a real effect on the 90% confidence level. The sum of elasticity in the Cobb Douglas production function is 0.621 < 1, meaning decreasing returns to scale. The ratio between the marginal product value (NPM) of production factors and the price of production factors for land area of 4 means that it is not yet efficient. Meanwhile, seed production factors, NPK fertilizers, KNO3 fertilizers and pesticides with NPMXi / HXi values < 1 mean that the allocation of production factors is inefficient. The use of production factors needs to be increased and the use of seeds, NPK fertilizers and KNO3 fertilizers and pesticides needs to be reduced according to the land area.
Dewi Hastuti, Hendri Wibowo, Dewi Malinda, Renan Subantoro Copyright (c) 2024 Dewi Hastuti Dewi Hastuti, Hendri Wibowo, Dewi Malinda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ojs.uma.ac.id/index.php/agrica/article/view/10964 Thu, 04 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Produktivitas Tenaga Kerja Pemanen Kelapa Sawit Pt. One of the corn production centers in Indonesia is in Sidenreng Rappang Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Corn production in this area is of concern to the government, because most of the people make their living as corn farmers. However, there are several obstacles in procuring production facilities in corn cultivation, starting from the use of less superior seeds, the procurement of expensive input facilities, the difficulty for farmers to obtain fertilizer. This research aims to analyze the influence of the use of production facilities on corn farming income in Mattirotasi Village, Watang Pulu District. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis with the independent variables consisting of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides while the dependent variable is corn farming income. The results of this research show that the use of corn farmers' production facilities, namely seeds, fertilizers and pesticides in Mattiro Tasi Village, Watang Pulu District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, has a big influence on increasing or decreasing corn farming income with a regression coefficient R2 value of 80.2% while it is 19.8%. others are influenced by factors other than fertilizer, seeds and pesticides. This shows that if these production facilities are used efficiently, farmers' corn production will increase. The large amount of corn production carried out by farmers will increase the level of farmer income.
Munawarah, Sumartan, Restu Ray, Lisra Copyright (c) 2024 Munawarah, S.P.,M.Si Munawarah, Sumartan, Restu Ray, Lisra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ojs.uma.ac.id/index.php/agrica/article/view/10385 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Analisis Efisiensi Produksi Keranjang Anyaman Bambu Di Kota Binjai https://ojs.uma.ac.id/index.php/agrica/article/view/11114
There are fewer bamboo craftsmen in Binjai City, due to difficulties in continuing their business, the reason being the lack of participation of young people in preserving the bamboo craft business which has been running for quite a long time. The price of raw materials is very high and sometimes fluctuates so that if the price of raw materials is high, plus production costs, the selling price will be very high. So this research aims to analyze technical, price and economic efficiency in the use of production factors in the bamboo woven craft business in Binjai City. This research was conducted using cross section primary data. Data were analyzed using a stochastic frontier production function analysis tool. The research results show that in terms of technical efficiency, all craftsmen are technically efficient because the efficiency index value is more than 0,7. The average value of respondents' technical efficiency is 0,87. This value shows the average achievement of technical efficiency in the woven bamboo basket craft business of 87,64%. This condition shows that on average it still has a chance of 12,36% to achieve maximum efficiency. However, in terms of allocative and economic efficiency, all respondents are not yet efficient because the efficiency index value has not reached more than or equal to 1. The average value of allocative efficiency only reaches 0,26 and 0,22 for economic efficiency, which means that each craftsman requires additional input.
Triyana Yolanda, Lindawati, Isfenti Sadalia Copyright (c) 2024 Triyana Yolanda, Lindawati, Isfenti Sadalia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ojs.uma.ac.id/index.php/agrica/article/view/11114 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Dampak Kerusakan Ekosistem Mangrove Terhadap Kondisi Ekonomi Masyarakat Di Kabupaten Langkat https://ojs.uma.ac.id/index.php/agrica/article/view/7805
The rampant planting and expansion of oil palm plantations and the construction of charcoal kitchens in Langkat Regency has caused damage to mangroves around the coast, which have the status of protected forest areas.
