Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian terapan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan teknik creative arts dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru mengelola perilaku di dalam kelas selama proses pembelajaran. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dan intervensi yang digunakan berbentuk teknik creative arts. FGD dilakukan dengan melibatkan 30 orang peserta yang terdiri dari guru, orang tua dan siswa. Penelitian ini dibagi atas dua kelompok FGD yang beranggotan 15 orang. Teknik Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa tematik kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Teknik creative arts dinilai cukup efektif dan dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola kelas. Baik guru di kelas besar dan kecil menjadi lebih responsif, mampu membagi dan memfokuskan perhatian mereka, memberikan petunjuk pembelajaran secara jelas, memberikan penguatan kepada setiap siswa, dan mampu memecahkan permasalahan secara berkelompok dan melakukan modifikasi perilaku dalam proses belajar dan mengajar.
