Hubungan antara Pola Asuh Positif dan Perilaku Melukai diri Remaja

Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang paling banyak ditemukan terlibat dalam perilaku melukai diri. Adapun demikian di Indonesia sendiri penelitian mengenai perilaku melukai diri di remaja belum banyak dilakukan, di sisi lain fenomena ini dinilai sangat perlu menjadi perhatian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pola asuh positif berhubungan dengan perilaku melukai diri remaja dengan mencari tahu korelasi di antara keduanya. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 478 remaja berusia 12-18 tahun yang menetap dan tinggal di Indonesia. Perilaku melukai diri diukur menggunakan Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory-9r (DSHI-9r), sementara pola asuh positif diukur menggunakan Parent as Social Context Questionnaire (PSCQ). Uji korelasi menggunakan Rank Spearman menemukan bahwa pola asuh positif dan seluruh dimensi di dalamnya secara signifikan berhubungan negatif dengan perilaku melukai diri (p < 0.01). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi penerapan pola asuh positif yang orang tua lakukan maka perilaku melukai diri akan menurun. Hasil temuan ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan dalam membuat penanganan untuk mencegah maupun menurunkan perilaku melukai diri yang dilakukan remaja dengan penerapan pola asuh positif.
