Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Pedoman bagi penulis manuskrip Jurnal Universitas Medan Area :

Manuskrip ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dengan kerapatan baris 1,5 spasi, Cambria 12, ukuran kertas A4, format satu kolom, dan margin last costum setting (top 2.54 cm; left 2.54 cm; bottom 2.54 cm; right 2.54 cm).

Panjang manuskrip ilmiah diusahakan tidak lebih dari 4000 kata atau kurang lebih 10-12 halaman, yang di dalamnya sudah termasuk gambar, grafik atau tabel (jika ada) yang menyertainya.

Struktur Artikel Ilmiah hasil penelitian, terdiri atas 10 bagian utama yaitu: (1) Judul (2) Baris Kepemilikan; (3) Abstrak; (4) Kata Kunci; (5) Pendahuluan; (6) Metode Penelitian; (7) Hasil dan Pembahasan; (8) Simpulan; (9) Ucapan Terimakasih dan (10) Daftar Pustaka.

Struktur Artikel Ilmiah non Penelitian terdiri atas 9 bagian utama yaitu: (1) Judul; (2) Baris Kepemilikan; (3) Abstrak; (4) Kata Kunci; (5) Pendahuluan; (6) Pembahasan; (7) Simpulan; (8) Ucapan Terimakasih dan (9) Daftar Pustaka.

Daftar Pustaka, dirujuk dari sekitar 40% teks buku dan 60% artikel jurnal ilmiah. Kemutakhiran jurnal ilmiah yang dirujuk harus diperhatikan, sekurang-kurangnya merupakan hasil publikasi yang relevan dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Daftar pustaka disusun secara alfabetis berdasarkan urutan abjad nama penulis. Penulisan daftar pustaka menggunakan APA Style.
